Kelly Allen is a San Francisco based prop stylist and set designer working with a broad range of clients to interpret ideas and shape them into visual narratives.

Kelly earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Minor in  Art History from the University of Oregon. After college she headed to San Francisco beginning her career on the product development side of things for companies like William Sonoma. It was while working in house for the Home Furnishings company West Elm that Kelly really fell in love with Commercial Photography, and all the creative possibilities that world held.

With 10 years of experience in the photo world Kelly’s range of experience and diverse portfolio demonstrate her ability to collaborate and acclimate to a clients needs whether it be interior, food and prop styling, set design or art direction.

 Kelly draws inspiration from travel, culture, nature, the man-made and how all of these intersect. Her work has appeared in catalogs, national editorial publications, and global advertising campaigns. She realizes it takes a village to pull off a successful photo shoot, and brings enthusiasm, creative solutions, and a nuanced humor to all Projects. She loves collaborating with clients on projects big and small, and understands that while the big picture is important, it is the little details and the ability to adapt that make the difference and set things apart.
